INSPIRATION WEEK

Last night I went to bed dreaming of quilts... and these blocks.
Already the colors are POPPING for me, and I am feeling it's a quilt color combo that
fits my mood to a tee! POWERFUL!

A friend mentioned to me in a conversation the other day about GREY,
that they loved KONA ASH.
I said, I use a lot of SLATE...(time for something new!)

"ASH"
It stuck in my head, and when I got up this morning, I knew ASH
was the color I needed for my blocks.

I'm not focused on making 4 blocks a day.  Not to much to ask of myself,
for my ME sewing time, among all my other projects...

I'd like this week to be about INSPIRATION!

SHOW me what inspires you..

When you see something and go "oh! There's a quilt in that!"
colors, fabrics, patterns, old quilts...

share with me what sets you off on a quilt journey.

I'll start...

I think the ASH color stuck in my brain, because of this quilt I bought...
The faded color that used to be dark brown, just looks so soft.
I thought it would be just the right trick for my new 15 minute blocks inspired by that shirt...

So go on...
Find some inspiration to share!

I'll be waiting to see!

It's interesting how these inspirations fit so perfectly, even when we're not conscious of it. Ash, gray, black, and making beauty from them--a tribute on September 11.
