I LOVE these, V! Those hot colors look like our maple tree - in about a week, it's getting there! Favorite block...I agree with Helen, it's hard to pick. For pure nostalgia, gotta be the log cabin - that's what my grandmas made for me.(I still have them.) To sew myself, I love anything with triangles - like star blocks, basket blocks, geese, or just all half-square triangles. Love the motion!
Until last night, when I made my first pineapple log cabin, I would have said the nine patch is my favorite. I do love the pineapple log cabin blocks I made. They are snazzy!

I am a sucker for star blocks, churn dash, and anything with flying geese. There are other blocks I like, but these are my favorites.

Hard to pick just one favorite, but 9-patch is definitely high on the list. I have been hand-piecing some baby-nines and they are awfully cute!
