Alright, see if you follow me here. The two quilter ladies I was discussing this with did not. Well, they couldn't understand the concept.
I read in Quilting Arts magazine, oh, maybe last year, an article that talked about Guerilla Quilting. She would make these little pieces, practice her techniques, her free motion, her embellishmeht ideas....what not.....and then leave them in places for someone to just pick up. Like she would walk in the park and leave one of the pieces on the fence. When she went back the next day, it was gone.
It made her feel good to leave these pieces around so someone who wanted it could have it.
The two ladies I was with could never grasp the concept of sharing your work with someone for nothing.
They would be soooo lost here! LOL. I just smiled.
