15 minutes Bee Block July 2011

In case you might wonder what happened to the strips that you sent me back in July, here they are.  Well, most of them.   Some of them will appear on the back when I get it completed.  Others of you might think that I left out their strips of fabric, but look closely.  Some of them have a new life.  I sliced and diced and resewed a few to interrupt the totally linear look (in my opinion) of the quilt top.  Just seemed like the 15 Minute thing to do.
no straight lines and matchy matchy seams for this gal
So she is 68" x 76" which is the perfect size for an afternoon nap and a picnic in the park.  Unless....... I add a fun floral border all around.  Hmmmmmm  What do you think?
Thank you ladies.  This has been a treat to play with!  Now on to the backing.

I think I see bits and slices of my contributions. I vote no to a floral border -- this quilt doesn't need to be contained in any way.

It looks wonderful! I say no to the border too.

Wonderful! That light strip down the middle is so unexpected, and gives it a nice focal point.

It's lovely, but I do love your crazy daisy flowers; they could look great too!

You put this together so beautifully! It looks so interesting....could study it forever. Instead of a border, could you do an extra heavy binding?
