Searching for the Perfect Tote Bag

I don't think I'm obsessive (this is my 4th try) but I am trying to develop the perfect tote bag for my knitting. I have been using some of the  large pile of made fabric as I keep trying different construction options. Needs to be large enough, but not too big, have good pocket structure and a top zipper. Close but not quite. I'm going to keep trying!!!

Update: I really do like this bag, but the zipper is just not the way I want it to be. There are a lot of tote bag tutorials and patterns around, but none of them are really good at zippers. If I get this figured out maybe I'll write my own directions.

I really like your bag! I share your desire for the perfect bag! Mine are either way too big or just a bit too small. :-)

Lovely bag, looks good with the made fabric and black. I agree with you - zips in bags are sometimes (always?) a problem.

Have made dozens of not-quite-perfect tote bags but won't give up till I get it right! I eagerly await your zipper tutorial....
