Happy New Year everyone. It is always interesting when you begin digging into your stash. I start by thanking V for this swap play. It has allowed me to take a moment and see my fabric buying history. It also has shown me the fabrics i have deemed "special and/or untouchable", and those that I have purchased again and again.
On another note, I have realized why, if I never bought another piece of fabric for a year I would be fine. (caveat: I say a year only because I wouldn't make that many quilts in less time. It would be safer to say the next few months. Which I do plan to try, because the pictures that I am posting does not show all the fabric in my possession. Smiles)
Sharon is my stash swap partner and her selection has been cut and packaged ready for the mail tomorrow. I chose fabrics that are more than four years old and no longer available, some "special" fabric, fabric purchased through my travels. and some old faithful's that I find my self buying wherever I can find it. So I hope she enjoys them as much as I enjoyed buying them.

Oh how I love looking at your stash! The quilters in my life - my mom and aunt- are not scrappers... so I inherit all of their scraps. I love your organization. Very inspiring. This whole blog is inspiring... It has been very hard to be a new mom and find the time for my beloved quilting. I could totally take 15 mins and play a little every day!
