My try at the triangle block

I tried out V's triangle tutorial and even though I like my block, it really doesn't lay flat.  I know I messed up on cutting out some of the triangles, but thought I fixed them before sewing the block together.  Looks like I missed a few for it to be so wonky.  I  am going to starch the whey out of it and then quilt, quilt, quilt for it to lay flatter.  If that works, I may make a pillow out of it.

It looks great here. Your points are nice! When sewing bias triangles you really have to let the machine do the work and not pull the fabrics. My first block I took my sweet time and it's perfect,my second I rushed and it can get wonky when I start pulling the fabrics. Be slow. and all will be well. ;-) making two more tonight!

I really like the colors you chose. Can you help me find the triangle block tutorial on the blog? Thanks for the inspiration, as always.
