quick like a rabbit

I had made a piece of made fabric for a different project the other day, and then didn't use it... Today I realized I needed a very quick gift for a man....man, oh man.... Trying to find fabric without flowers! LOL!
I sliced up quickly the made fabric into random wedges, fit them into some solid green, and yanked my favorite Kaffe Ikat Navy Blue and Green print from the shelves for some big simple borders...

Not bed size but a very big alp quilt for a very tall man....;-)

I think I will be quilting this one by check...

Tomorrow I will finish cutting the borders, cut a backing and ship it off ASAP to get quilted and back in time... Likety-split to bind!
Might not be fancy, but it will do the trick!

I like this very much. The colors are great. I really like the Kaffe Ikat. Very bold.

it is amazing what we can do when we are pressured. At my job, I always worked well under pressure. Now.....not so much!
