Here I used up some "15 minute MADE FABRIC blocks" to complete my "Family of Origins" quilt... I have an embroidered block for each member of my family showing where we are all from, and where we live all together...
China, Scotland, Minnesota, and NEW YORK! It is a gift for my Daughter who has been bugging me for years to finish it...Finally! ;-) Time to baste and quilt!
Thank you to SIOBHAN for embroidering the MN and NEW YORK blocks for me... Or I'd never have completed it! ( oh, and it is actually square... I took the pic at a weird angle over my mess!)

This quilt is such a great idea. I love the way it turned out. The pattern that is created with the made fabric is very cool. Your daughter will love it!
