January New'Bee Blocks - all together

Hot off the sewing machine!  I  have received all of the blocks from the New'Bee participants.  I didn't waste a minute sewing them together.  Thank you all so very much.

These blocks are terrific.  I am thrilled with the variety of fabric. Even the polka dots are different. There may have been a few of the same color combinations, but that is the only similarity!  (You'll find multiple blocks with music black and white fabric.  I made all of those blocks.)

Here they are - all together.  (sorry for the indoor lighting... at night... and the camera won't flash!)

I'm trying to decide whether to put a border around them. What do you think?

that's stunning. I don't think it needs a border, unless you really need it to be bigger. I love the pinwheels in the pinwheels.

or you could put a border around the four blocks making a pinwheel, mimicking the original block.

It's really beautiful! I can't wait to see what other folks do with this bee, and hopefully I'll get in on another one next year.

very cool - love the colors - I think they look fantastic just the way they are with no border, but go with what makes you happy!

I kinda like a border, LOL. A really bright color, like blue or red.

I love the blocks, what a great choice!

Simply wonderful as is!!! A border may spoil the illusion.....

Looks great Kathy! I guess I would vote for making it bigger, with a border (or borders?)using some of the same elements as in the blocks - black and white made fabric and pops of brights. Even if you don't border it, you've got a winner!

Oh, wow, I love how this pinwheels within pinwheels is looking. Cant help with borders, I'd have to lay them out to see how they look. But this is so awesome so far!
