Avocado (ripe or still green?)

As I was going through my stash, looking for fabric that was avocado, I tried to remember the oven and refrigerator in my mother's kitchen back in Texas. But then I also thought about the actual fruit - and yes, avocado is a fruit - and thought about bright green Bacon avocados, and dark, pebbly Haas avocados. That would explain the difference I've been seeing in the avocado posts, as well as the difference in the fabrics I selected for my two blocks. (I'm doing one small and one large for each color).

Here's the fabric I selected for my large block:

Great fabrics, especially that dark one with avocado, cream & black. I really like the spider-webby look to the made fabric in the larger block. Both are really great.
