When I was on the East coast the week before Easter, my husband called and said I had a package with beautiful flowers painted on the outside that was from San Diego. I asked him to open it and tell me what was inside. As he was describing it, along with the other goodies in the box, I thought I could imagine it, but when he sent me the photo, I was stunned. Then, when I got home, I was even more excited. This quilt has embroidery, beads, and blanket stitch around the binding with beads added for further texture. The embroidery is incredible, but I couldn't get a good photo of it. This photo does not do this work of art justice. I love it, Ellen. Thank you so much.

It was fun to make and I'm very glad you like it. Thank you for your kind words.
This is a pretty, gentle mini. Good work, Ellen.
Wonderful! Love the delicateness created by all those batiks.
I love how the sky is so many subtle shades of blue. It adds so much depth to the background.
