Ochre Easter Bunny.....Could happen!

I had intended this block to be finished in time for an Easter Table Runner but as you can see it just recently got to the block stage.  So it will have to suffice for next year's Easter Table.

It is from one of the Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks books.  I fell  in love with him the minute I saw him.  And I am not an applique person  so it totally appealed to me that this is NOT applique!  He is pieced.

And he is sooo cute!  I love that color.  I know Easter bunnies are really that luscious dark chocolate, but this little guy is ochre!

glen:  and I just had to photograph him on the "ochre" contertop in the kitchen!
