Color Challenge + Dusty Blue

I have just finished my blue block. Finding enough dusty blue was a challenge. A trip to the quilt store will be needed inorder to make a second block.

Also a picture of my collection so far.

I wish we did not have to wait a full week for the next color.

More details on my process can be found on my blog

Wow. I love that block. I have plenty of "vintage" dusty blue if you want me to I'll send some to you.

I love seeing all your blocks together on the wall. This is going to be a spectacular quilt.

I love all your great blocks together. I really must find time to get back to mine although I wasn't happy with my first two so might start again.

My favorite is the yellow one with little crumbs of the contrast color. Planning improvisational is hard!

Love your monochromatic fabrics with those dramatic accent strips. Nice dimensional effect!

Amazing how you can accomplish such pizazz with a limited color palette.

Your blocks are beautiful, Irene. I really like the monochromatic background with the contrasting stipe insets. Should be a bright and lovely quilt when you're all done.
