Grape .... I made a yummy fruit salad!

I not really obsessed with food but find this Color Challenge has tempted my taste buds once again. And while it's not officially summer, I visualized a lovely Terra Cotta bowl filled to the brim with some yummy fruit drizzled with a light Citrus Mint Dressing.  Yes, I know... it's not a Cooking Challenge :)))  I thought about what would go with purple grapes and raspberries, kiwi and strawberries, bananas and blueberries came to mind.

I sure liked this combinations of fabrics especially the batik with circles in raspberry and the wavy print because it reminded me of the citrus dressing with a touch of blueberry and grape colors.

Here's my fruit salad with Grape.  Can you tell what's missing?  It wouldn't be complete without the dressing so I added it after I cut the diagonal triangles.  And I will eventually capture the true color of the backround fabric which reminds me of Bananas.

Got ya thinking about Fruit Salad I bet.

Wow thanks for the fruit salad associations, that will help me dig in my stash for this new color. I agree with everyone liking the lime and purple together. I particularly like your raspberry swirls, too.
