This weeks color challenge is mint green. I was inspired by the most delightful place on the east coast of Canada a town called Lunenburg in Nova Scotia. It is like a teeny tiny San Francisco filled with very ornate Victorian houses all painted in the most unusual color combinations. Mint green to me means one particular building down by the harbor. To the mint green I added hints of red, lilac, pink and mustard. Really enjoyed playing with a blue based green and will definitely use it again as it seems so fresh. Another beautiful block and it is so minty green. This is a fascinating collection of co-ordinating fabrics. I do like the little square of minty green in the middle.

Your fabrics are always so lovely, resulting in such beautiful blocks! I realize now that mint green isn't the color I remember from the bridesmaid dresses of the 60's. Mint green really is a refreshing color; I will include in the stash from now on.

I really like your block. So many great minty green pieces to choose from in your stash. I especially like the sharp lines of mint on the coral and deep pink. The design looks like the lines from an earthquake recorder.
