Tomato Love

In my stash it is not whether I have tomato red fabric it is choosing which one to use:
I decided on this one:

I had lots of bits and pieces of made fabric around and I believe that red works with everything (almost), so I just used up some smallish pieces that I had and this was the result:
Here is the block:
And the group so far:
I will undoubtedly use this color a lot in the future.
It makes me feel happy and optimistic.
The only downside was the sort of ketchup and mustard look of the small triangles with my background choice.

I love "August tomatoes" (really ripe vine grown tomatoes in August) and I love their look. But generally I avoid red at all other times. It's fun to hear of someone who embraces red so. And I love your red fabrics so much! They really are fun and invogorating!
