Quilting Fun, and I Met Ellie!

I have had fun lately machine quilting a bunch of baby quilts. The mood to machine quilt rarely hits, so I had to jump while I was motivated. Here are 8 quilts I have finished this summer, most of them just this week:
Last week I traveled to Grand Rapids, MI to participate in a work day for Margaret's Hope Chest. There were several bloggers there, including Ellie who is part of this group (Hi, L!!). We both have color challenge quilts to try to finish (hopefully soon). It was really fun to work together on MHC quilts and to meet several bloggers, authors, and fabulous folks. Here is a picture showing an example of what we created that day -- about 15 of these lovelies.
Sadly, we failed to take a group picture. I also did not make it to the AQS quilt show while in Grand Rapids. It was our anniversary, hubby was with me, and I just didn't think I needed to make the whole, entire weekend all about me.
