I've already dug in!

So, I saw Victorias post about the new quilt-a-long with lights while I was at work today and couldn't wait to get home and start digging through my scrap bins.  Well, as expected, I came up with quite a pile of lights to get started with and got to sewing.  I am not a huge fan of solids or lights so this was going to be difficult for me.  I do love the whole concept of "made" fabric, I also love Victorias ideas and challenges, she makes it all so fun.  So, here is what I have after a 10 hour day at work..2 new light blocks...whatd'ya think?

I do have to say that after the previous color challenge, its hard to use bigger pieces...

Julianne I love your blocks (strawberries!). How about a quilt as you go project? That could grow to almost any size.
