I am attempting to make a whole quilt without black....a real challenge for me. Most of these light fabrics were given to me by friends. I especially want to repeat the sweet little straw hat fabric in future blocks.

Sometimes a special piece of fabric holds everything together. The little straw hat is just that. I like that someone else is using gifted fabrics.
