I'm so excited to have finished this!
I stalled out a bit working on the made fabric border...for some reason it just seemed more daunting to make a long and skinny piece rather than more square-like pieces. But once I got the top done, I quilted it in about 4 days (nothing like a deadline...the Blogger's Quilt Festival...to spur me on!). Machine quilting is something I need way more practice on, but practicing is what I'm doing! :)
Here are a couple close-ups as well.
Now it's time to get back to my lights and whites blocks...

Love this one, Ellie!
Oh it looks just great! I need to buckle down and get mine finished too.
I like this quilt!!! Perfect use of your fabrics - why can I not get people to see why using their 'leftovers' can be so much fun??!! (probably because I have not done as much as you have and my samples are not 'exciting' enough!!)
Love it! Border is perfect too!!
Looks like stained glass. Very pretty.
Very NICE...I love it!
Oh wow, this looks great..
This is beautiful. The made fabric border was well worth the effort as it so well completes and contains the quilt. It is interesting how each colour has interacted with the others to make a very coherent whole. A lovely quilt.
Love it! Nice job!
fabulous! it looks great!
Saw your top 5 on the Blogger's Quiltfest! Congrats. Felt good to vote for a fellow 15 Minutes Player. :)
Ellie Q, it is so pretty!! Love the quilting and everything. I must get back to mine one of these days. Soon, I hope. And I hope to get my whites quilted soon, too. You're inspiring me to get off my rear end.
