White and Light

I have been wanting to do a white and light quilt for some time now.  When Victoria put forth the challenge it was all I could do not to jump on the band wagon.  I have so many current projects to finish that I knew I shouldn't start another.  So I resisted.  For a little while anyway.  Then while not feeling well one day and needing a little mindless sewing therapy I dumped my whites and lights and let the therapy begin.  Three days later I had almost enough for a quilt.

Wow what a great start! I especially like the little girls fabric. This is going to be a sweet quilt.

There are so many points of interest in your "mindless sewing" project. Looks like you really enjoyed your therapeutic vacation!

I love the tones of your light fabrics and the use of traditional blocks mixed in with the "play" blocks. Seeing people pop up from block to block is also a lot of fun. Great job.
