I was digging through my stash, and came across this fabric. It made me think about Challenging fabrics... Not necessarily ugly fabrics, but fabrics that have a palette that can sometimes need help.
I was thinking that this could be a fun time to play with this, as it it lend it self to a holiday color palette, or not!
It also gives us a chance to play with PLAIDS! I love plaid!
So, I'm thinking about 20 of you, who want to play along,
I will send you a 12.5" square of the fabric, and
using the info (colors, patterns etc) given in your fabric,
including the ideas of 15 minutes of play and made fabric,
You create a table runner, or small quilt, through PLAY & update this fabric.
It can be a twist on something traditional, (show your inspiration)
or it can be something completely MODERN and over the top...
I ask that who ever plays along, that they Post their journey, and play, here on the site.
If you want to play and you are not on the posting list, you can email and and we can see about adding you to the play group.
Sharing the journey is part of the fun for all of us, to see what you are doing. We inspire each other when we are trying new things!

Reading this belatedly, but in case you need more, I have a yard of this fabric in my stash, haha. I guess I can do my own challenge w/it!
