Glad I Took Pictures

I pulled some fabrics to go with my tea towel. I thought I was ready to go, but decided to take a picture. I'm glad I did, because in the photo I realized that green stripey fabric doesn't look so great with the towel.
I looked around and replaced that green with a couple others. I like these better and love the modern fabric (the blue with green slashes in it) which I didn't think would go at all, but I like it! Off I go to start creating.

Love your towel. And I did think that stripe worked, but I thought it was black and white. In fact, I thought you were brilliant for pulling it!

I love your choices!

I think that was a good move ... replacing the stripey with the blue/geen because the blue brings out the subtle touches of blue in your towel. Wish I had time for this tea towel challenge!

Using photos is a great help - gives you a different perspective - have fun creating, can't wait to see more!

I'm pretty sure I have this exact towel.Just can't find it. Goodwill had lots of different years and I only wanted the 1975 for the year I married. I'm going to keep looking. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Good thing about a blog you can go back and see things you don't remember. Instead I bought a 1974 with rooster. http://jakoblaylaruby.blogspot.com/2010/06/wednesday-thrift-finds.html

That one looks so familiar. I want to find one.
