Sophie's Tea Towel

I loved the idea of this challenge, but I'm not a collector of interesting tea towels and couldn't find anything when I went hunting in resale shops.  When I noticed on a fabric store's site that they had tea towels, I got very excited about the idea of the Santa Fe or Southwest-themed tea towel I might find there.  I confess I was disappointed when what I found was a selection of new tea towels from Moda Home. But I thought this one had possibilities.

Sophie's Tea Towel

While not authentically vintage, it is based on a vintage design.  I'm already looking forward to quilting all those leaves ...

Love that tea towel Sophie - cant wait to see what you do with it. I decided to sit out this challenge as I have too much to do already and it is the middle of summer here so not so much time spent in the sewing room when the outdoors beckons. However I am enjoying seeing what others are doing with their tea towels.

Thanks. The colors in it are a bit limiting, but I liked all the motifs and think there are a bunch of design possibilities.

Looks great to me! I love the colors, you will have fun with it. By the way, my sister & I found lots of vintage tea-towels on Etsy. Fun!
