New Zealand Natural

Maureen and I swapped fabrics a while ago, and I am finally getting around to playing with them.  I sent her NY subway fabric and she sent me all these delightful nature prints.  I have been watching her progress in creating NY Blooms and have decided to echo her vertical format to feature her New Zealand homeland.  Will add more borders after I live with it a while.  I think the colors all work together...maybe a little wild, but that's just fine with me!  I have never been to New Zealand.   I hear it's winter there now and I wish I were there!

And we wish we were any where but here at the moment. We have just had a big southerly storm pass over the country and it is so cold. The wind comes straight from the Antarctic. I have heaps of kiwiana scraps - you have inspired me to get them out and play.

I lived in Fiji for a few years; your colors are so great for your part of the world!

Lovely to see this Helen - especially the owl peeping out, I fell for this particular fabric when I first saw it.
