Quilts for local hospital.

Here is a picture of the three quilts that resulted from quilts blocks produced by children during Waupaca's 2012 Arts on the Square, the town's August eclectic outdoor art show.  The muslin squares were assembled by members of  the Pieceful Hands Quilt Guild using bright and wild made-fabric sashing inspired by Victoria Findlay Wolfe's 15 Minutes of Play.   Children participating in this year's quilt project at the show will have a chance to win one of last year's finished quilts.   Another quilt will hang at the local hospital.   The third, in the tradition of the guild's hospital projects, will be given to a young patient at the hospital.- Peggy R

This is so awesome - I love this project! Getting kids involved in the arts, and giving back at the same time. Just wonderful.
