More Anvils!

Siobhan F, Pat W, and Hester C.
Thank you so much for YOUR blocks as well!

I have been overwhelmed by all the nice notes many of you have sent with your blocks.  I know life can hand us all and over load of life sometimes, so the fact that you guys make the time to make a few, even in your busy lives, I am super touched by the effort.

I sent off the other quilt last week, and rcvd the nicest, happiest voicemail from our friend, who was so shocked by the efforts of all of us, to make and give him a quilt.  His Lymphoma diagnosis has been followed up with news that his cancer will be treatable. Joyous shouts from all around. He said he will be using his quilt to meditate with and say prayers, for himself and all of us.  Isn't that just the nicest?

Love you guys! Thanks for all your help!

This is truly special work. Big hugs all around!

How NICE! Several years ago a friend of ours was given 6 months to live and he had to stay in hospice. I made him a quilt so he would have a 'hug' every day. He called it his magic woobie...he's still with us today and SWEARS it was the quilt!
