15 Minutes at a time

This is probably 2 or 3 15 minute segments - and it is coming together.  I think I know what I am going to do.  First piece of made fabric...

Then another, because that probably wasn't enough.  Funny thing, the teensy scrap bin doesn't seem to diminish much with this activity.  I wonder how much fabric I'd have to make in order to make a REAL DENT in my pile?  It may be worth playing more, to find out!

I sewed with my 1/4" foot because it's easier for me to sew straight with that, but I did trim my edges to an 1/8" or less before I pressed.  I want to work with Postage Stamps for my quilt - so I used my Accuquilt cutter to make 1.5" strips and then cut them into squares.

I am a bit of a postage stamp fanatic and I will be working on an Amish Irish Chain (variation).  I've wanted to see how a scrappy Irish chain would look for awhile and this is kind of the ultimate!  More soon - - -
