Michelle P's mini progress

Here are two images of my mini quilt (work in progress).  One image is a close up.  I wanted to make a flower bed because winter is coming and I don't like winter.  I started with 2 inch strips of fabric that I cut up into tiny pieces.  I sorted the colors into different piles.  Then I selected pieces as I started to build my flowers. I created a paper templates to make wonky looking flowers. Lol.  I plan to add tiny leaves.  The bottom part is the ground (dirt and grass) from scraps out of my bag.  As I was building the bottom part it became a big circle. So, I cut it to make a rectangular shape.  My next picture will be the finish product.  I have never made a mini quilt before.
