Mini #2

I made so many little tiny cuties while demoing in Houston, that I made another little quilt today. I have oodles to do, but just HAD to PLAY! So put some simple borders on it, drew out my design then started quilting away…

Left over mini's!  So dang cute!
(circles in free motion.. LOL now there is a challenge for ya!  Gotta try it! Not perfect, but if you don't go for it, well, you won't' get good at them! Practice, practice!

Now to hand stitch down the binding, and give it a little wash to get the chalk lines out…
Glad I got that out of my system!

So cute! I think your circles look pretty darn perfect myself! You have me hooked, I'm making another.

I did circles on a holiday runner i am in progress on. I am doing daisies inside them to hide how imperfect they are! It makes a big difference!
Love the picture frame effect.

So you're hooked on minis too? Cherrywoods are on my list to do next. Will skip the circles, however...

WOW! You don't let any grass grow under your feet. Houston one day, a mini quilt the next. Enjoyed seeing you in Houston again and watching your demo in Open Studio a few minutes. Those feathers are fantastic!

So dang adorable! This one is even cuter than the first. Hmmmm, may have to try my hand at feathers...

Today I had fun with my scraps. I linked this post to my blog and there is a photo of what I did today with starting two blocks. BUT mine are a lot bigger than the tiny ones you did. I will go for even smaller scraps next time....soooo fun!!!

Sweet little mini blocks. The quilting is amazing. Those circles look very challenging; the feathers too. I know, practice makes perfect. ;)

Great quilting! I love practicing my quilting on smaller projects--so much easier to handle!
