Mary's Garden

My nieces, Mary and Rachel love to come and sew with me.  Mary is 6 and is pretty handy with a needle and thread.  I let her play in my scraps.  She likes to make little pockets and pillows.  Rachel plays in my same bin of scraps on the design wall.  Like their aunt they like bright colors.  So when I began playing in the bin of scraps it seemed fitting that the quilt should hold one of their names.
As it grow I felt it reflected Mary's playful personality.
 So Mary's Garden was born.
I have ideas of one for Rachel forming.  Gotta honor both of my budding sewing buddies.
