So Special!

Makes me so proud!!! Madeline, made this quilt for her community project hours for school... She learned to sew her scraps, and make this beautiful quilt, which her mother then hand quit led and are donating to basics... I'm so proud of her!  InFact, her brother had done the same thing a couple years earlier! Beautiful people, beautiful work! Thank you Madeline!

Dear V,
I am very happy to let you know that the quilt my mom and I have been working on is now finished! I am attaching a few photos of the quilt. This is my very first quilt and I am very excited and happy about the results. I am so glad that this quilt is going to such a good cause.  (bumblebeansbascis.com)

What a great quilt! Makes me want to make one just like it. I love scrap quilts, and this one has a particularly nice layout.

Gorgeous quilt! I love the fun feeling from the scraps.

V - I'm game for your scraps. They're different than mine and I am a scrappy quilter. I have a few scrap projects in the works... ;) I'd gladly pay postage.

I hope Madeline now goes on to make one for herself! Fantastic quilt, fantastic first, and very generous!
