But It may take me awhile to get around to that...
I did however, have a thought...
When you have your portrait quilted and done,
Hold on to it...
I think we should take a couple of weeks at some point
down the road to have the
BIG REVEAL!
Perhaps the end of June?
Then, each day, one person can reveal their finished piece, and talk about the experience...etc..
like show and tell day in kindergarten...
Any thoughts?
IF we like how this little group goes... (I'm so loving all the creativity!)
I'd like to keep the group going with other challenges/or another idea.

Sounds like a good plan to me. I am still thinking of ideas that I may or may not try, so who knows, what I will end up with;)

Yes, a show and tell would be so fun. I've never done that on a blog project.
can't wait to see your daughter's portrait - she's such a cutie! I like your idea of a big reveal, plus it gives me a deadline for getting it finished off! Also like the idea of pursuing other challenges in the future
She has the sweetest smile! I'm on board with the reveal plan. That's a good push to get it finished.
I've really enjoyed watching everyone's progress! What a creative bunch you all are. I think I found a photo of myself that isn't too bad, so I will give this a try.
I love the idea of a big reveal - and I personally need more time to redo mine in a bigger format - it's getting too finicky with little bits & pieces. Since I am a weekend warrier, there isn't too much happening during the week. So June sounds fine to me. Doing additional projects: yeah, I am in! If you had told me I would do a portrait a few weeks ago, I would have said: No way! Now I am thinking of maybe using the final product as my alias/ blog photo...

Yes to the big reveals! I can't wait to see your daughter's picture, she is a doll! I have an absolutely awesome picture of my niece skydiving in Dubai. I thought I would try some of these techniques on that picture as a gift to my brother. I'm getting all kinds of ideas from this.
