My 15 minutes the last few days has been more of the little scrappy crumb blocks so I don't have pictures of that. But............this is what a did with 15 minutes a few months ago. This little treasure is about 10 or 12 inches square. Right now these little leaves are just fused on. They were all leftovers from................... THIS!! This is a fun pillow I made that now sits in my living room. I call it Bubbles. You can go here to see how I got my inspiration, I can't take credit for the design.
Anyway, the pillow took more than 15 minutes to make but then I took my little fusey scaps and played. The colorful 'leaves' are just sitting on my design wall for now, patiently awaiting another 15 minutes of my time. Any ideas of where to go with that little block? Should I make more? build around it? quilt and bind it as a mini? It could make a sweet AAQI donation. Hmmmm?

Cool! I am one of those people who never would have thought of saving those little leftovers! It made such a cute block!

I vote for turning your leaves into a Priority Quilt for AAQI. The colors are delicious! Love the pillow :- )

Make more! It's so pretty. I can see lots of those blocks in a big quilt.

The leaves block is stunning as-is. My vote is to keep it as its own precious little composition. Love the process you mentioned. Sometimes those unplanned things turn out the best.

Love the pillow, and I love what you did with the leaves. I think it would be pretty just the way it is.
