Piecing Therapy

There's nothing like sewing scraps together with no specific purpose in mind to take your mind off of less fun stuff. Look what I've made in an effort to postpone housework!

It was kind of interesting to piece nothing but blacks and grays.

Today I started all these potential blocks. The only one that's bigger than four inches is the strip on the bottom right.

I've done as much housework as I can stand for the moment. Now it's time to make some of these bigger! :- )

I like the blacks. And the others are a great start to bigger things to come!

Great diversion. Why are scraps sewn together so appealing? Maybe it's because they're kind of like snowflakes. Each one is unique.

I think that is a good excuse not to clean, lol.
I am in that mood today, too. Rather make something than clean.
