My 15 minutes of play ended up becoming a two-sided wall quilt. Half the houses wanted the light background. Half wanted the dark. What's a mother to do?
Some psychological theory says the house--in dreams--represents the inner psyche of the individual. These have many inner secrets.
I found this way of working so relaxing and fun, that I decided to sew bigger blocks and make a whole crazy quilt. Only 40 more to go.
But now I'm feeling a little bit crazy!

What fun! I love both the houses and the crazy blocks. I have yet to make houses, but I am just about to move house myself. Maybe a house project is just what I need when I get settled in.

I love the layout for the houses, really nice piece.
I can see this in a lot of different versions, beach houses, christmas, etc.
With two sided, you could do one regular side and one holiday;)
