15 to spare.

The panel on the right came from Gail in my scrap package...
the batik blocks I made over a year ago, and dug them out to play with Gail's panel...
I only spent about 15 minutes on this.. I just needed a distraction...
(thank you Gail, you sent me some fabulous fun pieces to play with!)
I tried them vertical... Which I like...
then started pulling things around quickly.
And using the small amount of Batiks that I had, settled on this for now...
I actually wish I had more of that wacky green ...
I may put these away and pull them out again later... trying to inspire and idea....
Will keep playing! And look for more puke-y green in Houston...

These two scrap panels look GREAT all smooshed together in the thumbnail. It reminds me of an African American quilt. But the green strip is good too. You are so talented! Buffy is always on the lookout for those weird yellow-greens. She calls them "pond scum."

I have never worked with batiks but this wants me to pull my box of batiks out.. So gorgeous! You have a perfect idea for using solid-ish batiks to display all the scrappy work!
My term for those greens.. you don't want to know!
I love them, it looks great here and that's all that matters!

Yes, I love the vertical offset one too...those panels were made for one another. Just held up a piece of bright magenta/purple marble batik next to to vertical offsets (over the mauve) -maybe lit up the panels even more? The green is great too - don't think pukey, rather, beeches in summer! Sujata, you MUST get out your batiks...you will be hooked!!
