Liberated Wedding Ring Runner
Here it is! Some serendipitous little accidents happened on the way to completion and made it even better.
I love how different this turned out from my original plan. I thought it was just going to be the wedding ring in the center, with the black oval print setting triangles, and piano keys all around. More of a bloated place mat than a table runner, really. I did go back to the pointed ends... they just say table runner to me!
I am so glad I kept playing! Thanks for all the encouragement and ideas.
I'm thinking of this for the back and then it will be a wrap!
I am glad to be working on a small project- it's great to be able to quickly try out an idea and finish it in a smaller time frame. I have another table runner planned for my next play project too- this one with (eek!) curved piecing.

it turned out great. I'm with you on the pointed ends. i like the fabric above and it will be great on the back.
Looks great Alexis, love the backing fabric!
It looks fantastic. Great job!
They will love it! How could they not?
You did a agreat job playing, look what you accomplished! I think they will really like it.
I love it and love the backing fabric, too.
Just perfect - that backing will make a lovely double sided runner, too!
