Liberated Wedding Ring Runner

Here it is! Some serendipitous little accidents happened on the way to completion and made it even better.

I love how different this turned out from my original plan. I thought it was just going to be the wedding ring in the center, with the black oval print setting triangles, and piano keys all around. More of a bloated place mat than a table runner, really. I did go back to the pointed ends... they just say table runner to me!

I am so glad I kept playing! Thanks for all the encouragement and ideas.

I'm thinking of this for the back and then it will be a wrap!

I am glad to be working on a small project- it's great to be able to quickly try out an idea and finish it in a smaller time frame. I have another table runner planned for my next play project too- this one with (eek!) curved piecing.

Just perfect - that backing will make a lovely double sided runner, too!
