Truly 15 Minutes

I've been thinking about stripes and dots. The stripey strip in the bottom of the photo was laying out on my cutting table so I cut off a square, sliced it into quarter-square triangles, played around with the QST's a bit, and then looked for a dot to go with it. The dots are half-square triangles.

I suspect this wasn't the best stripe to use but this little experiment has led to some ideas for a new quilt. More experimentation is called for!

I actually think they look kind of cool. Makes me think of underwater.... kelp and bubbles!

Oh I like this very much Sue. I particularly like the turqoise with the tertiary colours- lovely.

Agree, would like to see experiments. You never know what may inspire someone else. This that stripe is great. Indeed has that underwater, waving kelp feel. Bonnie

Thanks for the encouragement ladies :- )
I may not do more with these two fabrics (I'm not sure I have enough to do much more) but I expect I will carry on and do more with this idea.
