Make a Boob

Hi there! I have been totally absent here, but that does not mean I haven’t worked at spending 15 minutes a day playing and being creative. I have been preparing a community project; Make a Boob, a breast cancer art therapy and awareness project. So, basically, I have been making boobs during play time. Now that the project is up and running (you can read more about it here) I hope to get more spare time for playing with non-circular scraps.

I never thought I would be known as the boob collector, but there you go.

Your boobs look great! (I couldn't help it.) Seriously, that's a great project and I love the way you decorated yours.

A few years ago our local breast cancer people had a contest to design a bra. You took a 36 B and re designed it. The results were incredible. My faborites were ones like:

The pups (featuring two dog heads)
Hooters (featuring the eyes of an owl)

etc.

They offered like a $500 prize for the viewer's choice. And all other money went to local resources.

I love to participate in these things.
