Scrap Exchange
I am participating in the scrap exchange organized by Victoria. I am progressing quite well. The center blocks were done over paper. I used half square triangles and turned them so the base was the longest edge. I wish I could say I invented this but I saw a similiar design in a book called Scraps Can Be Beautiful by Jan Halgrimson which is no longer in print. I have done more than 15 minutes of play but can't play everyday, so I get to add up those 15 min. My goal is to use all the fabrics sent to me, but some may have to be on the back.

Bonnie,
The center is beautiful! I love the crosses it forms. perfect scrappy borders too. Inspiring! Love it!
It's so Happy! isn't it amazing what inspiration comes from using others scraps? You are very good at this Bonnie!
I love teh movement in this quilt. It's going to be great!
OMG! this is fantastic~
some randome thoughts..
1) i had no idea i sent so much yellow!
2) or that i sent so many stripes.
3) this may subconciously be because i don't really know how to use yellow or stripes..
bonnie, i'm in awe. all this fabric was sitting around my studio and would have kept sitting there never getting to realize its full potential. i'm so glad i participated in this swap, i never thought i'd get so inspired from my own fabric.. (thank you!)
Wow! This quilt makes my heart beat a little faster!
I love the stars in that they are not pefectly lines up and have such a wonkiness about them but yet so defined! SO fun!!!!
Think this is a winner indeed ... really eye-catching! Love the design & colors.
Wonderful - I love it!
