Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese

I was putting a black binding on my Liberated Wedding Ring table runner today... and you know when you have black thread in your machine and a bunch of little triangles from trimming your binding strips, it's playtime!

I dipped into my bag of other binding triangles (yep, I kept 'em, I knew I would use them for something!) and came up with a little patch of HSTs... I though of V's mini quilts that grew and grew... my mini quilt said FEED ME... so I did. Red like tomato soup. Golden yellow like melted cheese. Black like the burnt cheese drips in my toaster? Shhh, keep sewing and ignore them! My mini quilt is growing, too.

It's still hungry! We're going to go play some more and see what happens. This is FUN!

Thanks! Yes- more triangles (and pointy things!) I love that fabric- that's the last of it from my stash, I wish I had bought more!
