Intuition Quilt, Second go

I never think I have interesting scraps but I lucked out this time. My centre block from this post needed some neutral and/or cool borders and I found these strips from the “View from the park” quilt in my box. The teal batik is one of my absolute favorite fabrics, but it looked a bit too busy next to the flower fabric
so I swapped the two side borders.
The first border is safely in place, so what next…
How about green side borders and a big chunky hot border on the bottom with a little strip of dotted red on the top for balance. Yeah, I think I’m on the right track. The colours seem even brighter in flash light, but there you go, the days are still on the short side up here.

Isn't it fun when it all starts to fall into place? I think we all have a moment of our childhoods when the PLAY clicks and we let go and have real fun... Nina, you seem to have found a rhythm!
