intuition quilt
This is the final quilt with plenty of room for some shashiko style quilting.
This is the center I started with. Made from what was sitting on my cutting table.
Then I was inspired by these two old quilts from books I have.
These were the possibilities for adding to the center block. Once I decided on the darker blues I went to my stash to find more fabric with blue.
Once I got most of it together, I realized I shortchanged the bottom border.
I added the left side border to balance the quilt and cut off part of the bottom border.

Gorgeous! I love the colors. Sashiko quilting is going to be so pretty on it!
Love that bright center! ti will look fabulous with the quilting! free flowing and fun!
Am curious about those books you have. Can you tell me titles, please?
Your quilt has evolved beautifully!
It's fantastic! Brights & blues is one of my favorite color combinations. Have fun with the quilting!
The blue around the bright center really makes it pop!
Wow! You sure have great intuition!
I like it. The bright center surrounded by the blues with small pops of color on the left and bottom really work well.
That turned out really well. Quilting will make it sing!
