It's taking me longer than 15 minutes only because I don't just pick fabric and sew. I have to decide if the colors go well together. I'll have to change that since I'm obviously over-thinking this.
Here are some of the things I've made this week. The block is about 11". I haven't decided what I plan to make at the end so I'm at a loss of what shapes to make now. I do not want to end up with a bunch of crazy quilt squares, that I do know. I'm going to go with the plan to make things big and then I can cut the shapes out later of what I want.
The 2 triangles started out as a square that I cut in half. I wanted to see what it would look like.

then just make fabric for now, until inspiration strikes... Once you have a bunch of pieces of fabric made, you;ll have loads of possibilities! let the ideas come to you, without think so hard about it... they look great!
These are really cool. I like that you have used different sizes in your pieces.
They look like my blocks tend to be, dark. Everyone has such beautiful brights and you and I have those darker tendencies!

I like the pattern you got in the square block...four of those together would make a beautiful 'flower'!
