Green, NOT monochromatic

This started out as a monochromatic strip top, but then some colored strips found their way into the mix. And the strips were not lively enough for me.

I made a wide strip of most of the 15-minute-play blocks I had been making in green and added that to "up" the Green factor, and make it more interesting. Still not green enough.   I found MORE green pre-made blocks and made more strips.

So here it is: the result of my "monochromatic green" play time. A combination of making a strip quilt and15-minute-play blocks in the same color. It had become big enough for a twin bed, so I stopped.  It is now at the LA quilter's.

However, I still have the grocery bag of green "pieces", and I'm cogitating about suggesting a "green" theme to the SCRAP Bee in my month.

FUN! haha! I love it! See, it doesn't always pay to have a set plan when you start... let it talk to you and let it take you on a journey...well done!
