Inspired by this from Yoshiko Jinzenji:
I began with neutral linen fabrics:
Then made a few strips o' dots and dashes
Started making blocks
and experimenting with Marianne's QAYG technique:
I find that I am having a very difficult time preventing myself from overthinking this!
I had to keep telling myself to Stop, Look, and Listen!
Here is what I ended up with on Thursday,
deciding to stop the quilting process and
just make blocks to see where this may be going:
Got a bit more done on Friday:
Sunday afternoon's progress:
So far it is about 50" x 60" and I want it to finish as a lap size.
Maybe what I want and what my intuition says may disagree.
There has been constant rearranging of the blocks.
And strong temptation to start slashing the blocks.
What say ye?
Should I stay neutral?
Or add the bit's O' color?
