Quilt in a day challenge

My friend Hilary and I decided to try to make a quilt in a day (LOL). We piled both our stashes onto Hilary's spare bed and took over her study. Beginning with very rough plans we chose, cut and sewed in very manic play! We had never tried anything like this before, so I think you'll be amazed by Hilary's quilt. Thanks, Victoria for your encouragement. These are Hilary's first blocks...

Day 1

Day2 King sized (well...almost!) and folded to fit the viewing area!
